Message From the Government and Senate of Zydos
The government of the Empire of Zydos and the Senate of the Empire of Zydos both collectively condemn the actions of the Boguilan Military in its violent overthrow of King Saikou II. However, for now it will not get involved in any military or diplomatic activities relating to the conflict. It will just make the following statement: “This is simply one of the many temporary military dictatorships or democracies that have usurped monarchies throughout this world’s history, and monarchies will probably continue to be temporarily destroyed in favor of another form of government. However note the word temporary. Monarchies have always risen from the ashes, and monarchies will continue to rise from fallen democracies and dictatorships, because monarchy is eternal.”
Monarchy is Eternal, now that is a sentiment that the Genoise can get behind.
Perhaps, however Zydos has more important interests than a few foolish, idealist generals in Boguila. Perhaps it’d be more beneficial to let Boguila learn by fire.
Be that as it may, Capora is not in the position to go about conducting active economic nor political or military intervention.
As long as Daramy does not pose a threat to non-Boguilan monarchs, there is little reason to take up arms directly against her.
After all, it was Genoise threats that lead to this issue in the first place.
Hear hear! It is with these reasons that Mediama is trying to provide a way out for Boguila without having to lose face, while ensuring peace and stability with the region.
As mentioned before, we are saving military action as a last resort. Unless they fire upon Mediaman or Liegallan forces in anger, or attempt preemptive strikes, we will remain on high alert.
