Spotted Refugees?

A Civilian Zeppelin was spotted drifting barely below the clouds as the sun came out, out of power. To whomever saved them, aboard were around 15 people, 4 of them children. They were each frostbitten, nearly frozen, and each injured in one way or another. They each carried themselves differently aswell, with one of them claiming to be from the Government, yet the others call him a Delusional. They say stories that Eastern Osowiecs has split into various cities, with Elias Banks II attempting to keep frail order. One of the wayfarers claims the reason order fell was due to horrible delegation of control around the Furnaces. Instead of thoughtfully delegating trusted agents to act as leaders of these districts, apparently EO officials selected people based of little information and random luck. Barely any of the cities continue to function, as many collapse and riot. One of the women in the caravan say Korr Sentra itself has gone to chaos, with houses torn apart to build a wall around the 'habitable' zone. Some people were denied access, turning to crime outside the walls. Corpses lay buried in the snow, writing and vandalism smear across the buildings, snuffing hope from the small flames. On of the other refugees found seem to be shunned by the rest, wearing white and purple robes. They claim humanity has done wrong, and the Ice Maiden has been sent to destroy them, the only way of serenity is prayer and sacrifice. Yet this person is constantly called 'Cultist' and 'Traitor'.

No matter if these are Truths or not, it's clear that EO is not handling aswell as its regional siblings.

Presidential elections postponed in Francanada

As the weather continues to be snowy and freezing, the Parliament of Francanada has decided to postpone Francanada's National Presidential Elections until clearer weather. Most of the Northern Province of Mormalmark has been evacuated to the other side of the Nelde-Nire-Kelde mountain range, which protects Southern Francanada from being ravaged by the Arctic Winds. The northern port of Kirkangelsk has temporarily closed and the once colourful city which has been endorsed for its architectural beauty now stands grey and deserted, as it is the place where most of the Winds condensate. Some reports say that it resulted in temperatures as low as -50 C
With the beginning of the Winter holidays, many Francanadans have travelled to the island of Tolneven in the South, where the temperature has not fallen below 0 degrees. Some Members of Parliament have suggested to open the sacred National Park of Gauthlome, which citizens are restricted from entering, to the public to fit more people, however the majority is stubborn upon keeping the gates closed, protecting the virgin forests from irrevocable damage.
Everyone in Francanada awaits in anxiety, for news both bad and good. The research stations in the Arctic work in full force, and the Francanadan government does its very best to hold the sprawl of Winter, while actively continuing to send help to its less fortunate neighbours.

I woke up to 15 notifications, 8 of them being high ranked in the world for... stuff. Which is nice.

Frozen Leadership

The frozen storms damaged one of the vital processors that keep the cybernetic brain of Demiurgus Fabril Silmegor running. He was immediately put back into cryogenic sleep.

A power struggle has ensued. The Supreme Councilor of the Vanguard is trying to consolidate his authority by declaring State of Emergency and establishing a War Council. The Cold Comitee sees this movement as a threat to its own authority and has denounced him as a dangerous tyrant.

The High Councilor of the Seas has resigned and gathered with malcontent elements from the armed forces and the Maritime Workers Union. They accuse The Cold Comitee of degenerating into a puppet of international imperialism and are calling agladnarean workers to defend the revolution.

Meanwhile the Navy is in complete disarray as High Admiral of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of the Agladnarean Vanguard (RAFAV) has been assassinated by an eco-fascist terrorist organization called Natural Revival, which has increased its influence among junior officers of the Revolutionary Navy. They are sabotaging factories and killing foreigners indiscriminately.

In the chaos, hunger is spreading like wildfire. The rage of the proletariat will not be contained by the ice.
