Congratulations to our new Senator for New Republica South, The World Defense Organization!

Is capitalism or communism preferred for growth in economy in nation states?

As far as I can tell either one will work, if you're just judging by the strength of the economy.

Both my Civil Rights and Political Freedoms I've been trying to work on are going to tank a hit because of the WA proposals now;-;

The point was to start a food fight. We call them pot pies here but most of the rest of the world calls them meat pies, hence the suggestion :D

Love Minecraft, played it for years. Still enjoy it occasionally, but ever since discovering Vintage Story I rarely play anything else. It's like Minecraft grew up and got hard. Insanely hard. These trailers are really good and showcase the game quite well.

Senator for Lyonesse East

Greetings my fellow nations,

I have been elected to the Senator position that is for Lyonesse East, I am honoured that you have voted me to represent the Houses on the Council of 9 for another term.

I did not run this time on an agenda as I did not believe that an agenda was the right thing to do going into an election, instead I am now processing a few aims that I would like to implement to increase;
- activities within the Houses
- involvement with the Houses
- using the XKI Housing Association to help you get to know the region better. Watch this space as details will be out shortly.

I am continuing to act as the Senior Senator as the longest serving Senator on the Council of 9 and will be looking to announce the Rookie of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2024 on 31st March.

Once again, thank you for electing me.

Keswickholt
Senior Senator of Lyonesse East

From this point on, I promise to do my duties justice and to the fullest of my ability. Thank you to everyone who participated in the voting process, and I thank Wazeww for running against me. Wazeww is a highly competent person who would run the position with high efficiency and accuracy. It was an honor to run against such a person.

Nothing eventful happened yesterday for me, expect maybe that lesson we had learning how companies stuff cigarettes full of unnecessary stuff (like seriously I feel there is less profit at that point)
Sorry for your dad though!

One lesson that isn't taught enough these days is that of the mouse. Mice die in mousetraps all the time. Why? Because nobody explained to them the true cost of the free cheese. Trust me, there's not a corporation on earth that won't take every step they possibly can to produce things as cheaply as possible. So while it is true that a lot of those ingredients may appear 'unnecessary', the truth is they're there for a reason. The company might not want you to know the reason in some cases (chemicals to make them more addictive). The point being, there is 0% chance that those additives are reducing the profit of those companies using them.

Terribly sorry to hear that about your father. The economy is being steered by blind pilots intent on ditching into the ocean it seems, hopefully common sense will return in November.

Sorry to hear that Sprat; I hope your dad is able to find something else soon.

Shoot I’ve actually just remembered that my teacher told me that when I asked her about it, my awful will to remember things outside of exams strikes yet again.

Good luck to Dad. I've raised a family so I know the pressure this puts on him.

I was curious who was beneath me in today's rankings and was pretty impressed with their accomplishments. Well worth the dig.

He told me I dont need to worry, but he pays the majority of my tuition so I kind of have to be worried. He said he hsd been getting offers for other jobs for a couple months though.
