Then they immediately started 3 kilometers of comprehensive training (including armed cross country, orienteering, group blasting work and quick response shooting), the Army Infantry Academy instructors were responsible for the assessment work, and all the participants passed.
2. The mechanized artillery corps directly under the South Pyongan Military Area organized troops to carry out rapid march and counterattack training under information conditions. The armed reconnaissance units drove the BTR-82A armored vehicle and sent drones to conduct reconnaissance, and the artillery unit received target information during the march, and then completed the process of parking - artillery erection - firing - withdrawal within 3 minutes. After aerial observation, the first hit rate was up to 97%.

The 12th Wing of the Air Force organized a combat readiness patrol training along the border with South Korea, sending two JF-17B, four Mig-29SMT and four Su-30MKK. During the training, the ROK Air Force dispatched two KF-16 and two F-15K for close-in reconnaissance, and were intercepted by four J-11B of the 11th Wing. President Kim Jong Un flew by helicopter from the National Pyongyang Hospital to the Gangwon Military Area Command to personally command the air force operation.

From May 1 to 3, the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force sent more than 20 aircraft and several times into the West Sea air Defense Identification Zone of the DPRK, trying to approach the DPRK airspace and stay for a long time. The South Hamgyong Military Area ordered East Sea Fleet Naval Aviation Troops to enter class 2 combat readiness and conducted "point-to-point" countermeasures.
On May 4, led by the Naval Headquarters and assisted by the Air Force, the Naval Aviation and Air Force dispatched 40 fighters, bomber planes and electronic confront planes from South Hamgyong and North Hamgyong Military Areas to enter the Sea of Japan three times.
