Should have read the fine print...

Once upon a time, a young CEO shook hands with what appeared to be a strangely smooth up-and-coming investor looking to pad both their wallets. But as the ink dried on the checks and the contracts, it became clear that all was not as it seemed...

This region has been wrested from the hands of its former owners and seized by Rudastan on behalf of the Brotherhood of Malice during Operation Hostile Takeover. Should you too wish to avoid the perils of managing your own region, simply sign here... and here... and here. Our team will be in touch.

Greater winnipeg order

Memorandia wrote:I just looked at clamation - aren't they a fascist? is that really the kind of person we want to be president? I don't care how inexperienced someone is, I wouldn't want a fascist in power. That's worse than being "inexperienced"

Damn bro, they haven’t been fascist in their attitude, I don’t know though. I’ll look into it. I also thought that was suspicious, and I even got this in: https://archive.org/details/img-1525_202401. But I stand. If they’re a fascist, I’ll call a no call. If not, then Clamation.
Plus, you’re being pretty biased. We need to look at the facts, me included. :p

I’m planning on creating a ‘The Than’-like dispatch for my region. Is that ok?

Clamation the nation is by definition fascist - the player, however, is anything but 🤣 that much I can promise.

Rules

Rules of Civility

The Regional Message Board or (RMB) is the common property of everyone in The Prosperity Sphere. When posting on it, please observe these rules:

  1. The RMB is communal property and posts on it should be SFW (Safe for Work). The RMB is not a fast-moving chat-board like on a YouTube channel or similar, it is designed for regional discussions, board announcements/updates, and roleplay and is an area where nations may ask questions, get answers, and brag about how much money they are making!

  2. Racist, homophobic, transphobic, or generally intolerant comments directed at another group or individual, be they political or social in nature, are not acceptable in the RMB. This applies to everyone, regardless of political stripe or perspective. Leave your politics at the door, or on our Discord Politics Channel (that I haven't got around to making yet).

  3. Roleplay is not only permitted on the RMB, but also Encouraged! When posting in character, begin your posts with "IC: " without the quotation marks.

  4. Spamming, filler posts, obscene language, and multi-posting are not permitted.

    1. Spamming will include any nonsense posts or posts that contribute nothing to the regional conversation, RP, or the discussion at hand. Posting in ALL CAPS, or in all bold or all underlined is not permitted. Quoting spam posts is just perpetuating the spam and is also not allowed.

    2. Multi-posting (posting multiple comments consecutively) is heavily discouraged. The posting window on each comment has an EDIT feature. If you find you have more to say after posting in the RMB, simply add to your first post, instead of making a second.

  5. Recruiting and region linking is not permitted. Nations posting from outside are expected to follow regional RMB rules.

Rules of Succession

The Prosperity Sphere is a region where the Chief Executive Officer is the supreme leader and the Shareholders (residents of the region who are also WA Members) are the citizens who have a stake in the region’s affairs. The CEO is elected by the shareholders and can be removed by them through a Vote of No Confidence. The process of electing or removing the CEO is as follows:

  1. Any Shareholder, may call for a Vote of No Confidence against the CEO in the Regional Message Board (RMB) at any time.

  2. A 24-hour long poll will then be posted to the region's main page by the CEO, COO or CRO, where the shareholders can vote on whether they have confidence in the CEO or not. The options are:

    1. The CEO has my confidence

    2. The CEO does not have my confidence

  3. If the majority of shareholders vote that they do not have confidence in the CEO, then a new election is triggered. NOTE: the CEO is not removed from office until a Successor is elected.

    1. Alternatively, If the majority of shareholders vote that they do have confidence in the CEO, then the CEO remains in office and the shareholder who called for the vote may be legally ejected and banned from the region by the CEO. This is to prevent abuse of the Vote of No Confidence mechanism.

  4. If the CEO is voted by the majority to be removed by a Vote of No Confidence, then nominations for the new CEO are opened on the RMB for 24 hours. The CEO will stay in power until the new CEO is elected.

    1. To be a nominee, one must be a shareholder and have two other shareholders nominate them (one nominates, and the other seconds the nomination).

    2. The sitting CEO (or the one the confidence vote was called against should they have resigned early) cannot be nominated.

  5. After 24 hours for nominations, a second 24-hour poll is created where the shareholders can vote for their preferred Candidate from among the nominees.

  6. The nominee with the most votes at the poll's conclusion becomes the new CEO. In case of a tie in a race of three or more nominees, a run-off vote is held for another 24 hours between the tied candidates. If the run-off vote also ends in a tie, or the vote was only between two nominees to start, then the candidate with the most tenure (has been a shareholder the longest) becomes the new CEO.

These are the Rules of Succession. They are designed to ensure that the CEO is accountable to the shareholders and that the shareholders have a say in the region’s leadership. When they first take office, all CEOs must swear to step down should they ever be voted out of office. If a sitting CEO is voted out of office and refuses to vacate the post, then ALL members of The Prosperity Sphere must leave the region. If a sitting CEO is voted out of office, doesn't vacate the seat, and can't be reached, then the members of the region must wait for 29 days; if the CEO's nation is not deleted in that time due to inactivity, then all members must assume that the CEO is illegally holding his seat and leave the region.

Ah, and Winnipeg isn't a WA member! Good catch!

Then by default of a 1:0 vote, presidency goes to you 🤣

Long live Malice! Praise the Overseer!
