OverviewMeulmania is an extensive array of island chains spotted across the South Pacific. The nation is situated with Australia to the west, New Zealand to the south and Hawaii to the north-east. Whilst the island group was originally formed by volcanic activity, no volcanoes are currently recorded as active.

Climate
Meulmania features a tropical climate, modified by southeast trade winds. The warmest months are typically January and February with a more temperate climate between May and August.
The warm tropical waters of the islands are home to a vast array of tropical fish species (Meulmania Tourism Bureau)
National Animal
The national animal of Meulmania is the Great White Carp [Scientific name: Maxcyprinus Carpio] it lives in relative abundance around the waters of Meulmania, however remains incredibly rare outside of Meulmania’s waters. The Great White Carp is distinctive for its immense size, with mature individuals growing up to 7 metres in length and weighing over 2,500 kg. The Great White Carp has been measured at speeds in excess of 40 km/h whilst pursuing its food.
The Great White Carp noted as a solitary hunter, is known to move within small family packs. It has a wide ranging diet, including crustaceans, cetaceans and other fish. Whilst rare, attacks on humans have been recorded.
