The Todavía te extraño of 0cala is a colossal, efficient nation, notable for its public floggings, hatred of cheese, and restrictive gun laws. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless population of 5.675 billion Ocalans are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The enormous, corrupt, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Law & Order, and Administration. The average income tax rate is 90.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Ocalan economy, worth 885 trillion Dollars a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched, highly specialized black market in Uranium Mining and Woodchip Exports. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 156,066 Dollars, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

The government now pays the "Really Awesome Super Heroes" (RASH) to catch evildoers, the judicial system legislates morality, citizens brought into court for parking violations are never heard from again, and raindances intended to summon storms instead attract tourists. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. 0cala's national animal is the Horse, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

0cala is ranked 284,115th in the world and 6,253rd in The North Pacific for Safest, scoring 5.77 on the Bubble-Rapp Safety Rating.
