Starlight

Long ago, the people of Starlight & Horizon formed a vast nation known as the Starborn Empire which spanned the entire galaxy of Celestara. This was a civilization rich & luminous with knowledge, ambition, and power. So much so that they even constructed a galaxy spanning transportation network known as The Starlane System, several millenia before faster than light travel became widespread. Beyond that, they harbored advanced technology that far exceeded any other nation at that time. Simultaneously, they infused their fast knowledge of magic into bettering the lives of all Starborn. However, the tides of fate turned, as they always do, and gradually over time, their once mighty dominion faded. The Starborn drifted, fought amongst one another, and eventually, collapsed. Much time has passed since then, with the only remnants of the Starborn being in the vast Starlane System they left behind amongst others echoes of dust. Nonetheless, the dream of reclaiming their ancestral home has refused to die. For some in Celestara, the path forward is in unification, while for others, the future lies in distancing themselves from past mistakes. What path will your nation choose, I wonder? Alas, there is no way I could know that answer - not now, at least.

Now, as time streches on further and further from the Starborn, I pray that you and the others do not make the same mistakes they did. Take care of yourselves, your people, your nations and your galaxy, as now more than ever Celestara stirs with activity. The Starborn nations are awake, and many leaders will step forth, and inevitably conflict will unfold once more. Whether through diplomacy or domination, the ultimate question remains:
