Fun Fact about the Iunan Empire

The Empire having so many diverse languages within it, with four broad 'lingua francas' to contend with is difficult when it comes to administration and military affairs.

As such, the Emperor made it so that the Army functioned primarily in Latin but requires that officers are bi-lingual in either two of Latin, Greek, French and English.

How this translates to practical application is a form of shortened "Army Latin" has come to being since this reform, with more technical and jargonistic language than what the average commoner speaks.

In terms of Government and administration, the Empire is divided into linguistic zones pertaining to the majority tongue. For instance, "Zona Latinam", "Zona Graecam", Zona Anglicam" and so forth.

This is particularly different in cities where a diverse array of languages are spoken, as such Local Governments will run a bi or tri-lingnual (to accomodate Belgians) regimes for the understanding of its citizens.

In order to combat this incoherence and avoid the divides of the old Republics, children are raised to speak multiple Imperial languages within the domestic and education spheres, indeed studying the literature and history of each.

To end this segment, I leave you with a joke that is common within the country:

The Colmaij State has declared the immediate ceasing of communication with the outside world. To all who may concern themselves with this information, Colmaijo has long stood to communicate itself with the degenerate forces across the world that are disgraced in comparison to the Colmaij nation and its people. It has been too long that Colmaijo has traded the risk of moral corruption and obliteration with the mere potential of diplomatic relations with unworthy cultures. Colmaijo is not only a nation, but a stronghold of values that shall never die.
The new Colmaijo sends a message across the world that its nation is not to be contacted with or bothered, as it focuses on its own devices and internal affairs. The following steps shall be enacted immediately.

• Ceasing of any communication lines between the State and foreign nations, including civilian lines such as the internet and telephone contact.

• Expulsion of any foreign diplomats or limited tourists currently in Colmaijo

• Ceasing of any remaining diplomatic relations between the State and foreign nations

• Withdrawal of any naval vessels, civilian ships or aircraft to Colmaij territorial waters or airspace

• Withdrawal of citizenship of any Colmaij outside of the State, they have been corrupted.

• Immediate mobilisation of the Colmaij army to be put on standby on all borders

• Warnings have been sent to the world that Colmaijo shall not be bothered

• Immediate withdrawal from any diplomatic treaties such as the EMMSSN that the State still holds

The GGRC has reformed itself to a new and more fitting label, the State as Colmaijo is now its own world. In schools, and in all areas shall the Colmaij flourish and celebrate their purity and innocence. School children can now flourish as the plague of liberty is gone. Liberty is loyalty. The disgusting past leaderships of the State that have dared to exchange the people's morality are now gone. Dugin is gone. What is left is the State and the State only. Any foreign governments or peoples attempting to bring our nation out of isolation shall meet any measure necessary to protect the people. Goodbye.

Hi guys - it's Col here and it's time to say goodbye. I hope this is short enough to read and understand.

Needless to say, thank you everyone. RGBN has been amazing to RP with and make friends with on NS, and led to me learning a lot about passions surrounding politics and diplomacy. It has also led me to enjoyable hobbies like the game I made earlier this year based on Iuno and mapping out (though somewhat lazily) the history of Colmaijo. If anyone has any questions surrounding these, feel free to DM me or TG. As for Colmaijo, it will probably just become a spare alt for region capturing. I'll still be active on NationStates, just not here.

After 6 long years on NS, most of them being here, it's sad that it had to end negatively. Although the moderation has decided that I cannot stay here any longer, I don't regret my actions surrounding my Faith or beliefs. I don't know to what extent Starlight or any other regions have influenced the mods' decision, but I hope RGBN is able to continue with its deep lore and maintain its independence. Please do not surrender this region into others' hands who may not have your best intentions at heart.

If I knew this was going to happen and had a choice to join this region from the start, I think I would almost every time. It's been amazing. Take care and I hope you find peace in your lives, maybe or maybe not just as I have in Christ. Farewell RGBN.
