The People's Republic of The Workers and Peasants Union of China is a huge, socially progressive nation, ruled by Mao Zedong with an even hand, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, ubiquitous missile silos, and punitive income tax rates. The quiet, industrious population of 959 million Reds are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The large, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Healthcare. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Beijing. The average income tax rate is 64.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The strong Chinese economy, worth 64.3 trillion Yuan a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient black market in Information Technology, Automobile Manufacturing, Trout Farming, and Arms Manufacturing. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 66,998 Yuan, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Weekly religious services often resemble campaign rallies, ethnic minorities are often refused admission to some of the nation's best schools, foreign musicians that Mao Zedong dislikes are turned away at the border, and inter-species marriages are ignored by the government. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Workers and Peasants Union of China's national animal is the Giant Panda, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

The Workers and Peasants Union of China is ranked 261,053rd in the world and 811th in The Communist Bloc for Largest Gambling Industry, scoring -8.06 on the Kelly Criterion Productivity Index.
